AAAAaaaaa there is totally a weekly ASL conversation group that meets in a Starbucks ten minutes' bike ride from my house. I saw it with my own eyes. It was like a dozen people, chattering away. Just from a very cursory series of furtive glances I think they are actually a pretty wide range of noob to expert, and I think some-hearing, some-deaf. So tempting. Man, why is ASL so adorable. I feel basically like I did back in the summer of 2002 about e-o.
