Today, I bought a banana from the little only-produce store that opened up a couple weeks ago three blocks away from me. It cost $0.24. You guys. Seriously. It may have been the most perfect banana I have ever eaten in my life. Not too mushy, not too firm, not too sweet, not too bland.
I am normally like pfff, whatever, tiny neighborhood non-chain specialty store, you probably just have overpriced versions of what I could otherwise get at places that use modern concepts like Economies of Scale. But as concerns fruit and WaWa, I am for the time being convinced otherwise.
