Got to hang out with dr4b some more tonight, down at Jim's Steaks on South St. This is the first cheesesteak I've had with Cheese Whiz as opposed to "real" cheese, and I have to say, it was alarmingly tasty. There is in fact, as people have sworn up and down to me is the case, some sort of unholy synergy between the weird salty cheeziness of the whiz and the greasy, meaty nature of the steak. I also met her friends (I think they were named) Jenny and Chris who drove down from Jersey to meet her, and were at CMU around the same time I was but I never met them somehow. Anyway they seemed like really nice and a comfortingly nerdy sort of people.

Oh also lest I forget: just before that dee and I were just waiting in the Starbuck's across the street for the others to show up (since evidently Jim's frowns on you occupying their precious tables before you have ordered food) and there was a seriously crazy dude there talking to himself and laughing insanely at nothing in particular and rubbing a stick of deodorant all over his face.
