My god, all issues of socializing in a new city apart, the phenomenon of ubiquitous cheap food trucks here that serve food I actually like continues to be so great.

Some nameless truck on Market near 36th sold me a completely delicious and rather large (like, nearly Uncle Sam's sized) turkey-bacon, egg and cheese sandwich for $3.00. I thought the cost of living was supposed to be higher here than pittsburgh, but the cost of sandwich-life is quite reasonable. The turkey-bacon is somewhere in between canadian bacon and salami in texture and flavor. Not sure how that happened.
