Last night nearly forgot about the games night at tom7's house with kathy and spoons until he texted me. "Race for the Galaxy" is a very cute Puerto Rico-esque card game. I had some surprising good luck in Settlers afterwards, coming from a middle-of-the-pack 6 points to victory in two rounds, building (after getting a shit-ton of resources that played well to my port to boot) two roads, a settlement, and a city in one turn, and gaining longest road the next.

Here is a short note about the "queue logic" that I've been mumbling about frequently lately in various technical conversations, since it is, I think, a useful counterexample to the idea that the display property is an essential property for a logic.
