Had some adventures with philip at the helm and _tove trying to get her cyborg sunglasses thingy from the pittsburgh science center back to filmmakers. Sadly it got a bit dinged up at the former location. Damn kids! Watched Pleasantville later. I had already seen it once, but it had been quite a while. I didn't quite catch all the allegory-angles before. The fact that everything isn't actually neatly tied up at the end (what became of Don Knott's character? what did everyone back in the real world think about Reese Witherspoon's character's disappearance?) reminded me of how unsettled I was as a kid at the ending of Harold and the Purple Crayon, where Harold doesn't return to his own "real world" and instead just falls asleep in the purple-crayon-world.
