I saw the new "Indiana Jones" movie with erika. I am not deeply emotionally invested in the franchise, and I think this made it easier to enjoy the film. Maybe they are not quite living up to the greatness of the original series, but I can't tell: it remains a totally ridiculous and entertaining film. I came for jumping over things, snark in the face of certain defeat, supernatural macguffins, and ancient secret temples that crumble to mystery-concealing dust just as you exit them, and I got what I came for.
