Randomly ran into
wjl waiting for the bus to go to lunch. He reminded me that there was a lunch with Matthew Fluet who is visiting. Went to that. Ran into dr4b, had second lunch at chipotle. An excellent alternate form of our traditional bagel-eating time. Went to bhudson's talk. Found gaming/socializing with alums going on in the UC. Went to the KGB 20th-anniversary party thing. It boggles my mind how much influence some nerds who decide to make a club can have. I know I am very grateful to them for immeasurably enhancing my time at CMU.
