Half of those aren't in any way cold symptoms.

Yeah I suppose you're right. When it was mere sniffliness and sore throat it seemed very much like a head cold, but flu seems more likely given everything else.

I am basically in love with it and variants thereof, and have never been able to figure out its classification. Probably because I know nothing about fonts.

"Handwriting"?

yeah "handwriting" or "script" or whatever. I don't recognize that particular one, but it looks relatively recent in being kind of goopily inky, almost trying to be a graffiti font slightly.
