Worked a little on my talk for the workshop that is coming up alarmingly quickly
Finished "The Golden Compass". Pretty good, would like to read the sequels but they are slightly hard to find in libraries. Might just have to buy them.
Stepped on either the sharp end of a guitar string or a staple or something, ow. Given the presence of both these items in the carpet in the vicinity of where I stepped, not exactly sure which is the culprit. It broke skin enough to draw blood, but only a very little.
Heard back from kaustuv, who is still in Paris though not at LIX anymore, so I will probably get a chance to say hi to him while I'm there.
