Books read in the last week or two: Terry Pratchett's "Going Postal" and "Making Money", by implicit recommendation of
groen. Both pretty good, though I agree with groen that the villain in the latter is kinda weak. In fact I didn't like the Lavishes much at all, which struck me as odd, since Pratchett is usually so good at writing that sort of petty, venal, conniving characters.
