Hey so this band I have been playing with lately, the "Lost Bees", is having a show on Friday 12 October, at 5:00 p.m. in the (Pitt) Alumni Hall 5th floor foyer. I'm told this is just across Fifth Ave. from the Cathedral. Being as we are an upright bass player (Rick Wood), two harmony-wielding singers (Moira Burke and Heather Hendrickson), and me on keys, we unsurprisingly skew a bit towards jazz, but there is a trace of indie rock in the mix. Since we are all dorksSCIENTISTS our show is part of a conference, on the topic of SCIENCE. No, seriously. How they get away with having a conference on all of science I'll never know. Registration is free, though!.
