ICFP post-mortem: Last half-dozen hours were a bit frustrating, but overall the event was fun. It makes me want to write good programs for a change.

The Wm. Pitt Union has a brand-spaking-new upright piano, tucked away in the room labelled "Art Gallery" which seems in practice to be more of a conference room. The sounds's a little bit muddy, and the action isn't quite to my taste (the main problem being that it's more smooshy than crisp at the bottom of the press, but on the other hand it is rather light, which I do like), but really HOLY CRAP IN-TUNE AND NOT TOTALLY BROKEN PUBLIC PIANO who am I kidding it is GREAT.
