ugh hate being siiiick. The runny nose stopped at least, but now I can't stop peeing and I have a headache. I'm trying to stay hydrated, but it keeps coming out about as fast as it goes in.

You could try tapping into the magical, restorative powers of gatorade. In fact maybe that should be their new slogan: "When it comes out as fast as it goes in..."

And I'm glad your nose at least is starting to feel better! Hope you are all well again soon.

I was going to post the same thing! You might also try juices (with sugar, not corn syrup) for the vitamin C, sugars, and (maybe) some salts (like potassium).

There's a beverage called Pedialite that's meant for sick kids and restores salts they may lose while being sick, but Gatorade is like a poor man's (grown man's) pedialite.

Feel better!

As the Wise and Noble Mitch once said,

"By the way, you don't have to be sweaty and holding a basketball to enjoy a Gatorade. You could just be a thirsty dude. Gatorade forgets about this demographic."

And about yours too, it seems. I guess runny nosed peeing people don't look as good in those commercials where they come out of raindrops and bleed neon.

Salt helps you absorb water. Hence salty soup.
