I am listening to Conlon Nancarrow's compositions for player piano, since goob lent them to me a couple of weeks ago, and I finally got around to listening to them more intently. They are kind of ever so vaguely like tom7 entertainment system, since they are composed in the same piano-roll way (be it virtual or in Nancarrow's case, actual) but the player piano pieces sound much more organic, being played on piano strings instead of square waves, and oh man are they much more rhythmically chaotic. It's neat stuff, and a lot more listenable than I was expecting.
